Overview

This travel covers Peru’s highland zones, including urban spots, valley paths, and mountain hikes over 8 days and 7 nights. It starts in Cusco and heads to nearby valleys before entering trek areas with camps. Travelers take part in guided paths and vehicle moves, each revealing Andean land and past. BIO ANDEAN EXPEDITIONS manages the full list, ensuring steady flow from entry to exit.

People connect with area practices, such as coffee processing and trail ceremonies held for years. Halts at Inca constructions pair with complete overviews from capable guides. These specialists, skilled in several languages, draw on long records leading groups from many countries through these tracks. They explain each site’s place in Inca daily and its ties to modern Andean life. Private transportation, owned by the agency and handled by trained drivers, provides secure trips throughout.

A main focus is the Salkantay trek, where high passes and camps offer looks at peaks and forests. The group crosses rivers and fields, noting how locals grow crops like coffee. Foods on this use natural, local organic sources. Global dish picks are open, may add fees per the chosen place; check with BIO ANDEAN EXPEDITIONS reservations staff for details.

The way then leads to Machu Picchu, an Inca construction on slopes. Bus ascents give broad sights, with guides covering its design for sky watching and ceremonies. Through the entire setup, one of our staff follows your progress, available for changes.

Cusco sections stress Inca locations and later structures. Efforts range from led strolls to transport outings, including temples and markets. Guides, with broad track familiarity, expand on Inca methods for land use. The agency’s vehicles offer ease during shifts, and all halts include full descriptions to raise awareness.

Toward the end, the course returns to Cusco, summing the varied parts seen.

Overall, this plan from BIO ANDEAN EXPEDITIONS stands for its mixed scope, blending effort with breaks. It suits those drawn to Peru’s deep history and outdoor range, at a steady step. The agency’s own resources, from transports to multilingual personnel, build a firm base. Many mention the close care makes the challenging parts more doable.
